We are seeking an experienced and passionate Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team and contribute to delivering outstanding culinary experiences. About the Role As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes that reflect the hotel’s reputation for excellence. You will work alongside the Head Chef and kitchen team to maintain consistency, creativity, and efficiency in a busy, high-volume environment. Key Duties & Responsibilities Prepare, cook, and present dishes to consistently high standards. Work across multiple kitchen sections with flexibility and skill. Assist in menu planning, development of seasonal specials, and recipe creation. Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation to ensure consistency. Maintain kitchen hygiene and safety in compliance with food safety and WHS regulations. Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and professional environment. Manage stock levels, assist with ordering, and minimise food wastage. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth and timely service. About You Proven experience as a Cook in a busy restaurant, hotel, or club setting. Strong knowledge of modern Australian cuisine; seafood experience is highly regarded. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organisational, leadership, and time-management skills. Commitment to food safety and WHS standards.
