The Client Total Bliss Health & Beauty is a professional and modern massage and beauty spa salon located in Greenslopes in QLD. They now seek a skilled Massage Therapist to join their team. The Role This is a full time position with an annual salary ranging from $74,000 - $80,000 depending on experience plus superannuation. Responsibilities Provide professional massage therapy services, including relaxation, remedial, deep tissue, and aromatherapy treatments. Assess clients' physical conditions, medical histories, and preferences to recommend suitable massage techniques. Develop and implement customised treatment plans targeting pain relief, stress reduction, and muscular rehabilitation. Perform pre- and post-massage assessments to monitor progress and adjust treatment approaches. Maintain client treatment records, ensuring accuracy, privacy, and compliance with health regulations. Apply appropriate pressure and techniques to promote circulation, flexibility, and recovery. Advise clients on stretching, posture, and self-care techniques to enhance treatment outcomes. Ensure all massage equipment, towels, and work areas are sanitised and prepared to clinic hygiene standards. Manage bookings, client scheduling, and daily treatment rosters efficiently. Promote wellness services and retail products offered by Total Bliss Health & Beauty. Identify contraindications to massage therapy and refer clients to medical professionals where necessary. Participate in ongoing professional training and development to maintain current skills and certifications. Uphold customer service excellence by ensuring a relaxing, respectful, and client-centred experience. Contribute to team meetings and support collaboration with beauty therapists and wellness practitioners. Requirements Diploma of Remedial Massage or equivalent qualification. Current First Aid and CPR certification At least 3 years' experience providing professional massage therapy in a clinical, spa, or wellness centre setting. At least 3 years' experience in remedial, sports, and relaxation massage techniques suited to diverse client needs. At least 3 years' experience in assessing musculoskeletal conditions and tailoring treatment plans. At least 3 years' using client management systems and maintaining confidential health records.
