The Senior Finance Officer role sits within the ACT Government Suburban Land Agency’s Business Partnering team and contributes to a team providing high-quality, timely, and diverse support services in the finance reporting environment. Reporting to the Director, Business Partnering, you will: Support key tax compliance activities, including Fringe Benefits Tax return, Taxable Payments Annual Report, Business Activity Statement and National Tax Equivalent Regime. Develop and maintain financial and taxation policies and procedures Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of financial processes to produce quality and timely financial information. Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate strong organisational skills, be able to manage competing priorities, have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be confident in liaising with stakeholders at all levels. Eligibility/Other requirements: Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or a related field along with professional membership of CPA/CAANZ are highly desirable.
