The Role We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Radiologist to take on the role of IMG Supervisor . In this role you will: Provide clinical supervision, mentorship and support to IMGs working. Ensure that IMGs meet local standards of practice, safety, and professional conduct. Oversee image interpretation, reporting quality, and consistency; provide regular feedback and coaching. Assist in the orientation and onboarding of new IMGs, helping them understand local workflows, protocols, regulatory requirements. Consult with management and possibly regulatory / credentialing bodies regarding IMG progress. Participate in case review meetings, quality assurance, peer review, and continuing education. Support IMGs in maintaining professional development, participating in MTD meeting and CPD requirements. Work collaboratively with other radiologists, technologists, administrative team, referrers, and multidisciplinary teams to provide patient-centred imaging services. Key Requirements FRANZCR with strong general radiology skills Minimum 5 years clinical experience in diagnostic radiology in a variety of modalities (CT, MRI, X-ray, Ultrasound). Prior experience supervising, teaching, mentoring trainees or IMGs is highly desirable. Strong understanding of Australian radiology standards, protocols, safety regulations, reporting guidelines. Excellent communication skills; culturally sensitive and patient-oriented; ability to give constructive feedback. Commitment to continuous learning, quality improvement, and ensuring safe, high-quality patient care.
