As the Manager, International Partnerships and Engagement, you’ll lead the management of strategic international partnerships across Asia, supporting student mobility, joint programs, and research collaboration. This role is central to maintaining and enhancing RMIT’s global footprint, with a focus on existing partnerships in Asia. You’ll work across teams to support international business development projects and MoUs, monitor performance, facilitate international research collaboration, and alumni engagement, and oversea global initiatives such as thought leadership events and inbound study abroad programs. With opportunities for international travel and high-level stakeholder engagement, this role suits a strategic thinker with deep experience in international education, strong policy knowledge, and a passion for building meaningful global relationships. To be successful in this position, you’ll have: Demonstrated experience in managing international partnerships and engagement initiatives in a higher education or related context. Proven project management skills, including planning, risk management, monitoring, and evaluation. Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to provide evidence-based insights and recommendations on international education and market opportunities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in stakeholder engagement, relationship management, and presenting at professional forums. Ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and cultural contexts, exercising sound judgment, initiative, and problem-solving. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, deliver outcomes within deadlines, and adapt to changing contexts.
