We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Student Inclusion and Diversity Leader (Learning Diversity and Wellbeing) to join our team. The Student Inclusion and Diversity Leader is a Position of Leadership (part-time, three days per week) commencing in Term 1, 2026. As an active member of the Leadership Team, this role drives the school’s vision for Learning Diversity and Wellbeing by leading inclusive practices that support students of all abilities and backgrounds. The Leader works closely with teachers to identify and assist students requiring additional support, using data to inform teaching, track progress, and refine interventions. Special Requirements The successful applicant will: Demonstrate commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and well-being of children, in accordance with our Child Safe Policy and Child Safe Code of Conduct (which can be accessed via our school website). Lead professional learning in line with MACS Vision for Instruction. Develop and monitor personalised plans (PLP). Coordinate and document Program Support Group (PSG) meetings. Ensure compliance with requirements such as the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD). Provide professional learning for staff on inclusive teaching and the Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS). Manage learning support resources and personnel. Work closely with families, allied health professionals, MACS consultants, the Principal, Deputy Principal, and the Mental Health and Wellbeing Teacher. Plan with teachers, empowering them to develop SMART goals and differentiated Instruction that aligns with the Vision for Instruction and Vision for Engagement. Build positive relationships and assist in creating learning environments where all are valued, engaged and challenged. Demonstrate effective communication and organisational skills and the ability to plan collaboratively and be flexible, proactive, and resourceful. Develop and maintain professional and caring relationships with students, parents and colleagues. Demonstrate active participation in activities that help progress our School Improvement Plan. Qualifications and Experience Accreditation to teach in a Catholic School and current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration. Postgraduate qualifications are not essential but advantageous. Examples include a Master of Wellbeing, Master of Leadership, or a Master/Certificate in Intervention. Demonstrated experience and understanding of the NCCD process and requirements. Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a culture of collaboration and professional growth. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and MACS policies, including the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 and Disability Standards for Education 2005 . Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
