About the role Are you an experienced medical professional with a passion for leadership and scientific excellence? We’re looking for a Medical Lead to drive medical strategy and innovation, and engage with healthcare professionals, providing technical expertise to support our Oncology portfolio. As a Medical Lead, you’ll play a key role in pre-launch and launch activities, external engagement, and ensuring governance excellence. Your role will be varied and will include: Develop and execute medical strategies and tactics to support GSK’s business objectives. Lead medical projects and initiatives, including education programs for healthcare professionals. Build and maintain relationships with external experts, healthcare professionals, and researchers. Provide medical and technical expertise for scientific submissions, promotional materials, and clinical trial activities. Represent GSK at medical conferences and symposia, fostering robust scientific dialogue. Drive innovation and omnichannel approaches to medical activities and engagements. About you We’re seeking a dedicated and experienced medical professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about advancing oncology care. If you have the expertise, leadership skills, and drive to make a difference, this role could be the perfect fit for you. You’ll need: A degree in science, pharmacy, or medicine. Postgraduate qualifications in a related field will be highly desirable. 3 years of Medical Manager experience, ideally in oncology. Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams and navigate matrix management. Strong communication, project management, and leadership skills. A deep understanding of Australian medical practice, regulatory requirements, and reimbursement processes. Why join us?
