Drive data-informed insights and innovation to strengthen alumni and donor engagement Shape the future of Advancement through strategic leadership and operational excellence Full time, Fixed-Term role until January 2027 based in Hobart or Launceston About the opportunity The Manager, Advancement Services provides the necessary management and coordination of priorities pertaining to Advancement governance, strategy and planning, data management, reporting and analytics, and project management to deliver on the Advancement offices strategic priorities. The role is required to manage, develop and grow a high performing Advancement Services portfolio enabling a positive, progressive engagement experience for alumni, donors and other critical stakeholders. What you’ll do: Lead and coordinate the operations of the University’s Advancement service. Manage the suite of Advancement governance instruments. Develop and manage the Advancement team’s prospect research program. Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement. Project manage a rolling program of special projects which require analysis of data with view to improve the quality and impact of services provided. What we’re looking for: Proven experience using project management methodology to provide successful and disciplined delivery of projects and initiatives on time and strategically aligned. Excellent skills and proven experience in managing, analysing and presenting data. Strong attention to detail and an objective, analytic and evidence-based approach to managing initiatives and projects. Excellent interpersonal skills ensuring capacity to engage and maintain successful working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and to work effectively in a team. Excellent communication skills including writing ability to produce high quality reports and briefing documents. Salary details Appointment to this role will be at HEO 8 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $152,033 comprising base salary within the range of $114,282 to $129,943 plus 17% superannuation.
