You will make an impact by Managing and upgrading key systems, electronic access, CCTV surveillance, and alarm systems across Council facilities. Ensuring compliance with security standards, privacy policies, and Australian legislation. Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders including contractors, community groups, and early years services. Responding to and resolving security-related issues with efficiency and professionalism. Supporting audits and driving improvements in facility access and safety protocols. What you will bring Demonstrated experience in facilities or asset management, particularly in physical security systems. Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work independently. Technical understanding of electronic access controls, alarms, and surveillance systems. Familiarity with relevant legislation, Australian Standards, and Council policies. Ability to manage contractors and build effective stakeholder relationships. A proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement. Sound knowledge of privacy, compliance, and risk mitigation in public sector environments.
