We are seeking a skilled Category Manager to lead the optimisation of key procurement categories, driving value, efficiency, and sustainable outcomes. You will manage category plans, sourcing strategies, contracts, and benefits tracking while providing expert advice to stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement category plans to maximise value, reduce costs, and support supply chain resilience and sustainability. Analyse spend, markets, and trends to identify risks and opportunities. Lead strategic sourcing and contract negotiations to achieve optimal terms. Oversee contract management and supplier performance. Provide training, advice, and tools to stakeholders. Lead and mentor your team, building skills and capability. Contribute to procurement strategies, policies, and tools. Selection Criteria Post-graduate qualification, MCIPS, or equivalent. Extensive experience in category management, strategic sourcing, and contract management. Proven leadership in managing teams and projects. Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills. Excellent communication, analytical, and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Commitment to exceptional customer service.
