You’ll help design and deliver initiatives that make a real difference to how our people feel about working here. This includes leading the staff engagement survey, improving our performance and development approach, and strengthening career development and talent frameworks across the University. Working closely with colleagues in People and Wellbeing and leaders across the University, you’ll translate big ideas into practical, people-focused solutions that make everyday work better. What you’ll do: Lead and coordinate key initiatives that bring the University’s People Strategy to life. Oversee delivery of the staff engagement survey and action planning. Develop tools and frameworks that help leaders and teams have meaningful performance and development conversations. Strengthen our approach to career development and talent management, connecting people initiatives across the University. Use data and insights to measure impact, simplify processes, and drive continuous improvement. Collaborate with stakeholders to promote an inclusive, consistent, and high-quality employee experience. About you: You’re an experienced people or organisational development professional who enjoys turning strategy into action. You can balance design and delivery bringing strong project management skills and a genuine focus on people. You’ll also bring: Proven experience leading initiatives in engagement, performance, onboarding, or talent management. The ability to connect the dots across systems and simplify complexity. Strong stakeholder and communication skills you influence through insight and collaboration. A continuous improvement mindset and a passion for making the employee experience better every day. A background in human resources, organisational development, psychology, or a related field will be helpful, but equivalent experience is also valued. Salary details Appointment to this role will be at HEO 8 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $152,033 pro-rata comprising base salary within the range of $114,282 to $129,943 pro-rata plus 17% superannuation.
