The role Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with a passion for accuracy and strong financial skills? We're looking for an experienced Finance Officer to join our dedicated team and play a vital role in supporting our financial operations. Full time, ongoing role. Start Date: 8 January 2026 As Finance Officer, you will report directly to the Finance Manager and contribute to the effective day-to-day financial management of the College. This is a varied role with responsibilities across banking, general ledger maintenance, fixed assets, monthly reporting, and more. Your strong analytical skills and attention to detail will help ensure the integrity and accuracy of our financial systems and reporting. Key Responsibilities but not limited to: Banking & Cash Flow Daily journal entries and bank reviews Monthly bank reconciliations Weekly cash flow forecasting Managing transfers to loan accounts General Ledger Maintain and reconcile GL accounts Post journals and corrections Monitor monthly expenses against budgets Fixed Assets Maintain the asset register Process monthly depreciation Record asset purchases and disposals Monthly Reporting Assist the Finance Manager in preparing reports and financial statements Trade Debtors Prepare invoices, send statements, and follow up on overdue payments Accounts Payable Support Process invoices and assist the Accounts Payable Officer as needed Staff Credit Cards Manage the FlexiPurchase system and upload monthly transactions About You You’re a finance professional who takes pride in precision and thrives in a role where accuracy matters.
