The Opportunity The Educational Scheduling Officer (Liverpool) will play a key role in coordinating and delivering central examination and timetabling services at the Liverpool campus. This position supports the broader university scheduling operations and ensures exams and timetabling activities are delivered accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with university policies. You will be responsible for venue setup, logistics, timetable change requests, room bookings, and supporting students and staff throughout the exam and scheduling cycles. This role also involves supervising casual exam staff and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. You’ll be part of a collaborative and student-focused team within the Student Services Division. This is a hands-on role where your organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure will directly contribute to a smooth and consistent experience for students and staff. About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Relevant experience and/or qualifications in a complex or higher education environment Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Experience coordinating operational and administrative activities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to interpret procedures and escalate issues appropriately Proficiency in enterprise systems and digital tools Understanding of student equity and accessibility in assessment environments Willingness to work additional hours during peak exam periods This role requires availability outside standard business hours and across other campuses and venues during exam delivery periods.
