Blaster / Painter Roster: Rolling shutdowns throughout the year or local Monday–Friday work – be home every night | Shifts include day and night options Hourly Rate: $44–$55 per hour, depending on skills and experience About the client: Our client is a leading Western Australian company providing specialist engineering, fabrication, preservation, and integrity maintenance services to the Oil & Gas, Mining, Naval Defence, Marine, and Commercial Industries. About the Role: We have multiple opportunities for experienced Blasters / Painters to join ongoing shutdown work across WA, including Henderson and other sites, with options for FIFO or local work. Duties include but are not limited to: Clean and prepare metal surfaces using abrasive blasting Apply industrial coatings, primers, and protective paints Work safely at heights and in confined spaces Operate equipment and tools safely, maintaining high standards of housekeeping and safety Skills & Experience: Competent with airless and conventional spray painting Competent with abrasive blast equipment Previous site and/or workshop experience Marine environment experience desirable Excel at working unsupervised within a team environment Current or willing to obtain National Police Clearance Full Australian citizenship (mandatory for Defence projects) or full Australian working rights for other projects Current C Class Driver’s Licence (minimum) Tickets: Elevated Work Platform (HRWL), Working at Heights, Confined Space Maritime Security Induction Card (MSIC) – desirable Certificate III in Surface Preparation – desirable High Risk Licence with EWP – desirable UHP Ticket – desirable Ability to complete online and onsite inductions Pass pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol screening Positions Available: Local Henderson-based role – be home every night FIFO rolling shutdowns across WA Benefits: Weekly pay advantage Immediate start Work on high-profile projects with a reputable company Ongoing casual work for the right candidate How to Apply: Ready to hit the ground running?
