Responsibilities Provide direct support to individuals with complex behaviours Engage clients in meaningful activities that foster social connections and skill development Ensure a safe environment for clients and promote positive behaviour interventions Promote independence and empower clients to make choices Document client progress and report any concerns to the relevant team members Adhere to all relevant policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations Requirements Experience supporting individuals with complex behaviours and mental health issues Certificate III in Individual Disability Support or established experience Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle required A current NDIS Workers Screening Card and a Working with Children Check (Blue Card) MAYBO, MHFA, Crisis Intervention or Alcohol/Addiction training highly desired Remuneration: SCHADS Award - Social & Community Services Benefits Employee Assistance Program - Counselling Training & Development Opportunities Opportunity for Growth and Developments
