Lawyer/Associate - Dispute Resolution Family Law We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Lawyer/Associate to join our Dispute Resolution Family Law team in Sydney Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage a portfolio of family law matters with autonomy and efficiency, including parenting, financial, divorce, child support, and spousal maintenance cases.Draft and review legal documents including court applications, affidavits, consent orders, binding financial agreements, and binding child support agreements.Appear in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia for mentions, directions, interim hearings, and final hearings as required.Provide high-quality legal advice and guidance to clients in a sensitive and professional mannerConduct legal research and stay updated with developments in family law.Negotiate settlements and liaise with counsel, experts, and other professionals where appropriate.Prepare and organise mediation in Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia proceedings;Knowledge of Court Rules and the relevant practice directions;Time recording and billing;Contribute to business development initiatives, including networking, writing articles, and attending events and referral of new work to the family law team and firm as a whole;Supervision and mentoring of junior staff;Maintain cyber security at all times.
