Youth Engagement Officer Based in Collie, WA Casual Role - $43.23 per hour plus penalties Must be available 3:00pm-7:00pm Join our casual pool of Youth Engagement Officers at Collie PCYC for our Drive to the Future program! Through Drive to the Future, we support young people who face barriers getting their driver's license, supporting them through every stage from collecting documents, completing theory and practical driving tests, and achieving their logbook hours. As a Youth Engagement Officer, you will be a positive role model and provide practical in-car guidance for them to reach their goals of obtaining a Driver's License. About the Role: Reporting to the Youth Program Coordinator, you will: Provide hands-on guidance for young people as they work towards their driver's license and broader life goals. This includes being in the car and provide supervised log book driving hours. Foster a safe, supportive and empowering environment where young people can thrive. About you: Experience working with or engaging at-risk youth and genuine passion for empowering young people Current WA Driver's License (held for a minimum 4 years) Strong communication skills and ability to connect with young people from diverse background Current Senior Fist Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain) Possess a Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance with no driving limitations.
