Looking for experienced Electricians/Electrical Fitter Mechanics, to be based at a maintenance facility in Perth. This site specialises in the overhaul and refurbishment of heavy mining and rail equipment components – including traction motors, alternators, and wheel motors. Rotating roster with regular opportunities for overtime: Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM Afternoon Shift: Monday to Thursday, 1:30 PM – 10:30 PM; Friday 1:30 PM – 7:30 PM Benefits: Day shift - $59.15/ph super penalties Afternoon shift - $70.98/ph super penalties $42.89 per week allowance Static Site Long Term Contract Temp to Perm Permanent positions available if chasing job security Duties: Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble heavy industrial components Conduct measurements on journals, bores, and other critical surfaces Carry out cable brazing and insulation work Perform acceptance testing Inspect and assess components What you need: A trade qualification as an Electrician or Electrical Fitter Mechanic Right to work in Australia Experience with AC & DC rotating equipment, such as traction motors or alternators Exposure to GE or EMD systems (desirable but not essential) If this interests you please apply within or reach out to Kristian from Intro Recruitment.
