The Role Access to mental health services for residents in Residential Aged Care Facilities (RACFs) remains a significant challenge. In response, the Commonwealth Government has allocated funding through Primary Health Networks (PHNs) to deliver Psychological Services within RACFs. This role is pivotal in coordinating and supporting the implementation of these services. What you can expect to do in this role: Coordinate IT and scheduling for group therapy sessions. Provide program info and support to RACFs. Maintain documentation and activity logs. Share updates and newsletters with RACFs. Assist with data reporting and PHN enquiries. Support planning of Older Persons Team Forums. Build relationships with RACFs and community services. Manage MOUs (Memorandums of Understanding) and stakeholder records. Collaborate with team and attend meetings/training. Ensure quality admin and follow policies. Support audits and continuous improvement. What you will require: Proven experience in administration and scheduling. Strong stakeholder engagement and client liaison skills. Demonstrated commitment to safety and wellbeing, including child safety. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong time management and organisational abilities. Ability to work effectively within a team environment. Genuine interest in supporting the wellbeing of older persons. Evidence of current influenza vaccination (required for entry into RACFs).
