Learning Support Assistant - Secondary School Teddington | Full Time | Start: ASAP - July 2026 We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a friendly and inclusive Secondary School in Teddington . This is a fantastic opportunity to support young people in their learning and development within the school's Specialist Resource Provision (SRP) , working closely with experienced staff and specialist teams. Role Details: Position: Learning Support Assistant Location: Teddington Contract: Full time, term time only Start Date: ASAP End Date: July 2026 Department: SRP (Specialist Resource Provision) Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with a range of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and other learning difficulties. Support students both within the SRP and in mainstream lessons to help them access the curriculum. Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment where students feel safe, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential. Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCO, therapists, and other support staff to implement EHCP targets and personalised learning plans. Assist with classroom preparation, differentiation of resources, and monitoring student progress. The Ideal Candidate Will: Have a genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs. Be patient, empathetic, and resilient. Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ideally have previous experience supporting students in an educational or SEN setting (though training will be provided). Be able to commit to a full-time role for the duration of the academic year.
