Your new companyThis prominent higher education institution is seeking an experienced Executive Support Officer to join their ICT Portfolio Services Unit (PSU). This is a 12-month contract role offering hybrid working arrangements and the opportunity to contribute to high-impact ICT initiatives. Your new roleAs Executive Support Officer, you will act as a strategic partner to multiple senior executives, providing high-level operational and advisory support across ICT services and projects. You will coordinate cross-functional activities, manage executive communications, and lead the preparation of high-quality internal and external documentation. You will also support project delivery, financial reporting, and governance processes across the ICT portfolio.Key responsibilities include:Drafting strategic papers, briefing notes, and reports for internal and external stakeholdersSupporting ICT project delivery and PMO operationsCoordinating executive meetings, tracking actions, and managing confidential communicationsAnalysing financial and performance data to support decision-makingLeading or supporting operational improvement initiatives within the ICT context What you'll need to succeedDemonstrated experience supporting senior executives in ICT or technical project environmentsStrong capability in drafting high-level communications and documentationExperience working in Agile environments and familiarity with ICT governance and PMO frameworksExcellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skillsStrong analytical and strategic thinking abilitiesRelevant tertiary qualifications and certifications (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP, SAFe) are highly desirable What you'll get in returnThis is an initial 12-month contract with the potential for extension. Working arrangements are hybrid, with typically 3 days in the office in Sydney and 2 days working from home.
