The Company For the last 30 years, our client has manufactured purpose built pumping systems designed to their client’s requirements and specifications with a proven reputation of quality, reliability and service, supplying to a wide range of client’s in the Mining, Oil & Gas, Construction, Heavy Industry and Utilities industries. Due to our client expanding their mining and industrial division they are seeking an S26 Qualified Electrical Supervisor to work on site and in their Canning Vale workshop. The Role The onsite work will be mostly on RTIO sites. Our client currently operates a variety of dewatering plant and equipment including; Bore Pumps: Fixed & Mobile Centrifugal Pumps Skids: Diesel Powered Gensets: 50 KVA to 400 KVA Bore Field Control Trailers Pipe Line Components: Instrumentation - Sensors / Flow & Pressure, Automated Valves The main focus of the role is to ensure that the team are supported in ensuring the dewatering plant and equipment is installed and operating at optimal performance where the team will be conducting the following on the dewatering plant and equipment; Electrical Inspection, Fault Find & Repairs on Dewatering Plant & Equipment Inspection, Fault Find & Repairs on Instrumentation such as sensors & automated valves Scheduled Electrical Service Electrical parts & component change outs Installation & Commission of new equipment or equipment been deployed to new locations Metro Work The onsite work is ad hoc and therefore when not on site, the successful candidate will be expected to work in the Canning Vale workshop assisting with any onsite arrangements for the following swings/projects. The Candidate Candidates must have the following in order to be considered; Grade A - Electrical License S26 Supervisor Qualification with Previous Onsite Supervisory Experience Current Drivers License Must be able to a full Medical and D&A screening Candidates that have the following experience will be looked on favourably; Has experience in Electrical side of installation, commissioning or repair of dewatering plant & equipment such as pumps, gensets, control panels & instrumentation VCD Experience Possess experience in Switchboard or Control Panel inspection, fault find, repair or modification Has exposure to Genset Controllers (Comat main controller) Has experience on instrumentation – Fault Find, Repair or Change Out especially on flow & pressure sensors & emergency cut outs Be able to read off Electrical Diagrams – Line Drawings & Panel Layouts Possess either or several High Risk licenses in Fork Lift, Dogging, Rigging or Crane Operation Additionally, candidates that can demonstrate the following skills and traits are high on our list; Attention to detail Have the intention to commit to ongoing work Be reliable, punctual and have a great work ethic Be very safety conscious Take pride in your work Have contactable references Remuneration Depending on past work experience, technical expertise and qualification the hourly pay rate will be between; $90.00 to $100.00 per hour super Generous Daily Site Allowance Please note: Alternate rates and OT apply for Metro work as well as different working hours.
