About the Opportunity HighlandsXpress is a family-run furniture delivery business, looking to grow our team with an experienced professional in standard and white glove Furniture delivery. We service known and reputable furniture manufacturers and distributors weekly. Key Responsibilities Load and unload at the warehouse, ensuring all goods are protected, using manual handling or a walkie stacker when required. Assist with pick-up and deliveries to properties, always protecting and caring for goods and the client’s premises. Adhere to all company and site-specific safety procedures. Assist with mostly local and occasional long-distance pick-ups and deliveries. Assist with customer VIP services, such as blanket wrapping and furniture assembly when required. Follow the direction of the dispatcher or team leader to help complete all deliveries and pick-ups safely and efficiently. What You’ll Need to Succeed Experience driving truck around Sydney suburbs and the city MR license or higher preffered 1 years’ experience in furniture removals or similar delivery roles. Sound knowledge of the Melbourne area. Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting safely. Able to cope with the physical demands of the job and committed to safety. A friendly attitude, good communication, and excellent interpersonal skills to engage with customers. Reliable, trustworthy, and flexible, with a positive, can-do attitude. Attention to detail and the ability to work well in a small team. Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or tasks. Ready to Apply?
