Residential Aged Care and Community Aged Care Positions Available We have roles in both Perth Metro and Regional Locations Permanent Full time and Part time Salary starting at $85k - $116k plus Super Not for Profit Organisations with salary packaging available The Role: Conduct comprehensive functional, environmental, and equipment assessments for residents and clients. Develop and implement individualised therapy and rehabilitation plans. Recommend and prescribe assistive equipment, mobility aids, and home modifications. Support residents in maintaining independence, safety, and quality of life. Work collaboratively with nurses, physiotherapists, care staff, and families to deliver holistic care. Maintain accurate documentation in line with Aged Care Quality Standards and organisational policies. Contribute to manual handling, falls prevention, and wellbeing programs Complete therapy assessments and respond to clinical referrals Plan and implement individual or group therapeutic activities, whilst working with an interdisciplinary team to maintain an effective referral system and coordinate therapy implementation Maintain appropriate clinical documentation and information systems Contribute to a multidisciplinary program of continuous improvement Synthesise information, through observation and written documentation, to provide recommendations that are relationship centred and informed by evidence based best practice Undertake a range of assessments that help to understand the holistic experience of the person The successful candidate will have: Current full, unrestricted registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Occupational Therapist Relevant experience in an aged care environment Be relatable and able to share knowledge in a way that supports change at all levels High level of negotiation, communication and relationship building skills Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills Able to manage a complex workload and adapt to fast changing priorities and environments Is customer focussed and works effectively with a broad range of stakeholders Demonstrates effective communication, strong verbal and written skills, and interpersonal skills Covid and Flu Vaccination IMMEDIATE INTERVIEWS - Please get in touch with Michelle from Zenith Healthcare on 0483 929 398 or michelle.beech@zenithsearch.com for more information.
