Job responsibilities Operate, monitor and maintain dairy milking systems and related equipment Monitor livestock health and behaviour to support timely decision-making Undertake a range of duties and ensure quality outcomes, particularly in farm machinery operations, or assist with repairs as required Keep accurate farm records, including milk production, herd data, and feed levels Carry out daily checks on farm machinery and promptly report any faults or irregularities Operate machinery and perform adjustments or resizing as needed Use computerised systems by selecting menu options Work with the standard measurement device Understand basic scientific terms and concepts Assist with artificial insemination and fertiliser application as needed Work collaboratively with supervisors and colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations Strictly follow workplace health, safety, and animal welfare standards What we are looking for Relevant qualifications and/or hands-on experience in dairy or livestock farming are highly regarded Ability to work both independently and within a team environment Good time management with attention to detail Physically capable of handling the demands of farm work What we offer A supportive and inclusive work environment Competitive salary Salary: $69,000
