About the role An exciting new opportunity has come available to join ARRCS as our Finance Officer . This position is being offered on a permanent, full-time basis working Monday – Friday, 5 days per week. This role is offered on a salary of $36.75 - $40.10 / hour gross dependent on skills and experience plus salary packaging options. As the Finance Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the financial operations of ARRCS by performing a range of accounting and administrative duties. This role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting both the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions. Key responsibilities include new vendor screening and setup, customer billing, invoice processing, bank reconciliations, and running daily banking reports. As the successful candidate, you will show evidence of prior experience in finance operations with preference to a myriad of applications including AP, AR and banking. You will have previous use of financial software with preference to Epicor . You will be able to commit to full-time hours and be comfortable on providing advice and solutions to account queries. Telus Employee Wellbeing & Emotional Support Skills & experience To be considered for this role, we will be looking at the following experience and qualifications: Tertiary qualification in Finance or Accounting – Preferred however, not essential. Proven ability to accurately process financial data, including invoice entry, reconciliations, and reporting, with a strong focus on data integrity and error minimization. Skilled in managing daily banking tasks, reporting, and invoice deadlines effectively in a high-volume environment, ensuring timely completion of critical finance activities. Confident user of financial software e.g. Epicor, Xero, MYOB, SAP, Oracle and intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, basic formulas). Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a finance team, providing support across Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions as needed. Strong written and verbal communication skills for liaising with vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders regarding financial matters. Ability to work well independently and take initiative in own work and development. Good time management skills and conflict resolution techniques.
