Requirements What You’ll Do Contribute to assigned projects as part of a team to deliver customer outcomes. Lead teams in your capability area/s, when required. Assist, when requested, in developing, estimating, and reviewing proposals and submissions to customers Support the development of methodology collateral and IP development in your capability area/s. Participate in CT coaching and professional development programs. Provide peer review and professional development support to others in your capability area/s. Continue to the development of skills in your capability area/s, as well as explore the development of new skills that broaden your professional capabilities. Work in multi-disciplined teams to advise, design, build, and implement pragmatic, secure solutions that address requirements laid out by the Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC) for PROTECTED implementations of cloud-hosted services. Enhance security team accomplishments and competence through the delivery of quality, secure cloud/hybrid solutions. Supporting the safe and secure storage of sensitive and security classified materials produced by or entrusted to CT. Analyse and ascertain security requirements, aligning them with relevant frameworks. Conduct real-time monitoring of security alerts and incidents utilising our SIEM tools (FortiSIEM and MS Sentinel) to ensure swift identification and resolution of potential threats. Collaborate with all stakeholders to configure and fine-tune security tools Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation on security procedures and guidelines. Stay up to date with the latest cyber security trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance our security posture. Tune detection rules and use case logic to reduce false positives while maintaining detection quality. Mentor Cyber Analysts Call out ways to improve clients’ environments and research possible solutions. Make recommendations to streamline processes and improve operating efficiencies What You’ll Bring Must hold an active NV1 Clearance for this role. Extensive experience in cybersecurity engineering, including infrastructure, network, endpoint and cloud security Highly experienced in implementing SOAR for the purpose of reducing recurring tickets (FortiSOAR preferred) Demonstrated experience implementing cloud and hybrid security solutions Strong consulting and engagement experience with the ability to represent cyber security viewpoints to diverse audiences. Recent experience with security design, architecture, and implementation for Microsoft cloud services. Experience applying the ACSC Information Security Manual (ISM) to the cloud or hybrid solutions Familiarity with Australian cyber regulation and compliance standards (Essential Eight, SOCI, NIST. ISM). Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, fast-changing environment with experience integrating security into the DevOps lifecycle. with experience integrating security into the DevOps lifecycle.
