This role will require you to: contribute to the development and delivery of a risk-based business plan for the Education and Compliance team plan and conduct focused and timely compliance activities, including managing projects, undertaking complex audits and responding to inquiries prepare and deliver education sessions to teacher, employer, government and representative group stakeholders around teacher registration obligations, including employer co-regulatory obligations deliver risk-based compliance monitoring programs to ensure compliance with registration obligations prepare authoritative and high-quality reports briefs and correspondence on complex matters for decision makers analyse data from programs and systems to identify risks, issues and trends propose, plan and implement risk-based solutions and process improvements develop and maintain productive stakeholder relationships to promote compliance with registration requirements provide advice on the development of key policies and procedures within the Teacher Engagement and Registration Branch mentor and coach junior staff to promote professional growth, individual and team effectiveness, and efficiency identify and deliver specialist training to Teacher Engagement and Registration Branch work collaboratively across VIT to deliver outcomes aligned with the strategic plan undertake other duties as directed. About you You will have strong regulatory compliance experience combined with a highly organised approach and a proven track record in educating stakeholders to comply.
