AOD Counsellor/ SEWB Counsellor Location: Regional WA, North Queensland, Northern Territory Job Type: Full-time Salary: Base regional allowances benefits relocation assistance (if applicable) About the Company Our client highly respected leader in the delivery of Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) & SEWB services across regional. With a strong commitment to culturally responsive, trauma-informed care, Yaandina plays a critical role in improving the lives of individuals and families affected by substance use. They are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate AOD Practitioner & SEWB Counsellor to support service delivery across programs including sobering up and detoxification services and general counselling team. The Role This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified and experienced AOD professional to make a meaningful difference in a dynamic regional setting. You'll provide therapeutic and practical support to clients in recovery, working as part of a highly collaborative and mission-driven team. Key responsibilities include: Delivering evidence-based individual and group therapeutic interventions Facilitating psychoeducation, case management, relapse prevention and wellbeing programs Collaborating closely with clients to develop treatment and recovery plans Engaging in clinical reviews, case notes, and performance development activities Providing holistic client support including life skills development and practical assistance Participating in community engagement activities and stakeholder liaison Supporting continuous improvement, safety, and quality assurance initiatives You'll work closely with the Therapeutic Community Clinical Leader , Team Leaders .
