The Opportunity Reporting to the College Principal , the Director of Business Operations is a key member of the Executive Leadership Team . It provides strategic oversight of all non-academic areas of the College, including: Finance and commercial management Corporate services, risk, compliance and governance Human Resources and organisational culture Property, facilities and ICT strategy You will act as a trusted advisor to the Principal and Board, ensuring strong financial stewardship, effective systems, and operational excellence aligned with the College’s mission and long-term goals. Key Responsibilities Lead planning and delivery of business and operational strategies. Serve as Company Secretary, ensuring sound governance and compliance. Oversee financial management, budgeting, and forecasting. Provide high-level advice to the Principal and College Board. Manage HR, culture and wellbeing programs across the organisation. Drive capital works, ICT improvements and campus development. Embed best practice in risk, OHS and compliance frameworks. About You You’re a strategic and people-focused leader who can balance commercial performance with integrity and care. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are motivated by both purpose and results. Essential Skills & Experience Tertiary qualification in Business, Law, HR or a related discipline Membership with CPA, CA or IPA 5 years’ senior leadership in operations, finance or corporate services Strong governance, risk and compliance experience Proven financial acumen and strategic insight Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Desirable Experience in education, not-for-profit or faith-based sectors Knowledge of VRQA and Child Safe Standards Why Join Trinity?
