GENERAL EXPECTATIONS Ensure staff within the School embed the core Lutheran Education Australia (LEA) values of Growing Deep and Free to Flourish. Hold, or obtain, appropriate Lutheran accreditation leadership qualifications as required by the Lutheran Church of Australia (accreditation Acl); Work closely with the College Pastor/Wellbeing Team in spiritual matters including the provision of relevant worship and devotional actives for staff and students; Foster harmonious home/school partnerships between the College, the local Lutheran community, and the wider community; Plan, lead and support the strategic and operational development of the Middle and Senior School, in a manner that is consistent with College strategies and plans, including identification of priorities and directions; Demonstrate a passion for teaching and learning and a commitment to developing evidenced based, contemporary practice in pedagogy; Have a collaborative leadership style, demonstrating honesty, integrity, confidentiality and a high level of initiative; • Plan, lead and manage change processes within the Middle and Senior School; Provide and facilitate leadership, development and promotion of quality in all Middle and Senior School activities and inculcate excellence in teaching and learning; Oversee the general welfare of all Middle and Senior School staff and students • In collaboration with the Principal and other Senior Leaders ensure that Middle and Senior School activities comply with all relevant internal and external policies, procedure and reporting requirements Implement the necessary practices and procedures that promote and instill pride in the College and respect for people and property; Lead and monitor collaboration and partnerships both internally and externally; Represent the Middle and Senior School to outside bodies including industry and professional bodies as appropriate; Be committed to undertaking out-of-hours activities related to promotional and educational aspects of the College, and carry out all duties in a spirit of Christian compassion and service; and Perform such other duties as the Principal may assign from time to time For further information please review the Application Prospectus attached.
