Your role at St John of God Richmond We are seeking applications for an Administration Officer to join our Patient Services team at Richmond, on a casual basis. You will be responsible for providing administrative support to multiple departments within the hospital such as; Reception, Medical Centre and our Counselling & Therapy Centre. The Position Provide exceptional customer service to all internal and external customers to the Hospital. Ensure all clerical and reception functions are dealt with in an efficient manner including answering phone calls, making appointments and taking messages. Follow up with proposed clients for forthcoming attendances. Compile and maintain medical records/files to ensure all statutory regulations are adhered to, including confidentiality. Referral acknowledgement and referral outcome sent to VMOs. Tracking of patient for waitlist group programs The successful applicant for this role will have demonstrated experience in providing administrative support functions to a diverse team. Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, organisational skills, and the ability to manage competing demands are also required. The successful applicant will have sound computer literacy, with experience using the Microsoft Office suite, and other computer programs.
