Southbank location | Hybrid flexibility | Be part of a growing business Our client is a major provider of cloud based and hybrid infrastructure automation and implementation across Australian businesses. They are looking for a Finance Operations Officer to join their team and play a key role in keeping the wheels turning smoothly as the business continues to grow. This role is perfect for someone with solid finance experience who enjoys variety, takes pride in accuracy, and likes being part of a supportive team where your input really matters. This is not a “back office” role, you’ll be directly involved in the day-to-day running of finance operations and have the opportunity to improve processes as they expand. A typical week might include: Managing payroll and accounts payable from end to end Preparing BAS, PAYG, FBT, Superannuation and Payroll Tax lodgements Month-end processing, reconciliations and reporting Reconciling bank accounts and preparing weekly cashflow reports Helping with budgeting and forecasting Looking after the fixed asset register Supporting year-end reporting, audits and compliance Suggesting and implementing improvements to finance processes What we’re looking for You don’t need to tick every box, but here’s what will help you succeed: Around 5 years’ experience in finance or accounting roles Tertiary qualifications in finance/accounting (or working towards them) Comfortable using MS Office and finance systems (experience with MYOB Acumatica or similar is great, but not essential) Experience across payroll, AP/AR and reconciliations Strong attention to detail, with a knack for problem-solving Good communication skills and a team-first mindset A proactive, organised and self-starter approach Why you’ll love it there Competitive salary Hybrid work arrangements A collaborative, friendly team that values integrity and quality The chance to shape finance operations and make an impact in a growing, future-focused business Ready to Make an Impact?
