Job Description Lifecare is seeking a Senior Receptionist to join our dedicated team and positively contribute to the exceptional care of our patients. This is a part-time opportunity (approx. 24 hours per week) working to support our Allied Health team in South Yarra. Your daily duties will have you answering and addressing incoming telephone queries, scheduling patient appointments, processing payments, invoicing and balancing daily banking, whilst maintaining a clean and tidy waiting room, clinic rooms and kitchen, and replenishments. As a senior receptionist you will be required to complete other administrative tasks as required. This position given its nature is required to deliver a professional and confidential service whilst also demonstrating a high quality of customer service orientation. What's in it for you? Key Responsibilities Assist with day-to-day clinic operations, ensuring a clean, well-equipped, and welcoming environment. Build and maintain strong relationships with GPs, specialists, insurers, and community stakeholders. Assist to drive continuous improvement in systems, processes, and service delivery. Provide additional support to the clinic Practice Manager as required. Support in the debt management and data collection processes. Ensure all WH&S requirements are met, and risks are managed effectively. What You’ll Bring Experience working with allied health clinicians or a medical field is required Experience with a medical/clinical software, preferably Zedmed/Nookal Experience using Microsoft Office Suite Excellent written and verbal communication skills Desire to provide high level of customer service to both internal and external clients Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Someone who is passionate about the patient journey Someone who is open to developing and growing their opportunities with a long-term career in mind About Lifecare Lifecare are a part of the APM Group.
