We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager for a short-term contract (8–12 weeks) to provide continuity and operational support to our client. This position sits within the logistics, procurement, and supply chain function, working closely with the workshop team. The role focusses on providing efficient and compliant delivery of procurement and logistics activities while maintaining strong supplier and stakeholder relationships. Key Responsibilities Oversee procurement, logistics, and warehouse operations to ensure consistent supply of materials and components. Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts with suppliers and freight providers. Coordinate international freight, customs clearance, and delivery to client or workshop locations. Forecast inventory requirements and manage stock levels to prevent shortages or excess. Monitor operational KPIs including delivery times, stock turns, and cost performance. Maintain compliance with HSE policies and import/export regulations. Contribute to continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives. About You Extensive experience in procurement or supply chain management within heavy industry, mining, or manufacturing . Strong understanding of international and domestic freight processes and related compliance requirements. Confident managing end-to-end procurement operations and working autonomously within a small team. Proficient in Microsoft systems, including SharePoint, Teams, Business Central, and Dynamics. Capable of stepping into an established function and maintaining business continuity.
