About the OpportunityAs a Family Support Practitioner, you will play a central role in creating safe, nurturing family environments for young people returning home after detention. Working closely with mentors and other program staff, you’ll provide both practical and emotional support to strengthen family resilience. Key responsibilities include:Engaging families and providing emotional and practical supportFacilitating collaboration between families, schools, and community servicesDeveloping strategies to reduce risks and strengthen family capacitySupporting young people’s education, training, employment and wellbeing About YouYou are a compassionate practitioner who can engage families in complex circumstances.
