Full knowledge of Company Policies and Procedures; control day-to-day operations in accordance with current policies, procedures, and legal compliance. Movie session scheduling with film programmer. Adhere to state/territory and national content classification guidelines and restrictions. Establish strong interdepartmental relationships and identify opportunities to improve communication and planning to support a cohesive culture. Establish effective supplier and third-party relationships. Ensure location presentation and cleanliness meets company standards; manage repairs and maintenance with appropriate approvals. Maintain the company Asset Register for the location. Forecast and create staff rosters by shift, optimise workforce efficiency and align with data insights; manage payroll costs without compromising customer service standards; adhere to payroll procedures and auditing deadlines. Comprehensive knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) policies and procedures; maintain current Senior First Aid certificate. Ensure procedures follow company policy and audit checklists; maintain understanding of the Industrial Award. Respond to location calls to maintain safety and integrity of the premises; ensure compliance with local council inspections, OLGR or similar regulatory bodies. Provide overall leadership and team management; support Assistant Manager, Duty Managers, and team members. Recruitment, induction, and training of team members; conduct performance management of cinema employees. Motivate team members to exceed company service standards; ensure safe working practices and knowledge of equipment, chemical handling, PPE, and emergency procedures. Ensure compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity and related programs. Lead team briefs and staff meetings; provide clear direction on shift operations. Coordinate staff training requirements and maintain training documentation; attend company-required training. Revenue and financial responsibility for cinema; analyse operating statements and daily performance reports; take corrective action as needed. Review P&L with Area General Manager; manage profitability and KPIs; optimise cash handling and audits. Review stocktakes and inventory; approve inventory orders and monitor internal audits. Identify new revenue streams and opportunities; review market share and pursue growth ahead of the market; drive upselling and cross-sales within departments. Develop group and corporate bookings; manage supplier invoices and explore new partnerships; implement state/national promotions and loyalty programs. Ensure planograms are implemented. KPIs Operational Responsibilities NPS (Net Promoter Score) results; eNPS results; WHS audit inspections; payroll and rostering accuracy; internal audit results; compliance with local council food inspections and OLGR regulations. Leadership and Team Management Team meetings and minutes; up-to-date employee files; compliant payroll; internal survey and audit results benchmarks. Revenue and Financial Responsibility Location budget achievement; internal financial audit results; variance and merchandising reports; accurate account coding and processing; consolidation of VGS accounts. Customer Focus NPS targets; address customer feedback; manage WHS incidents; ensure customer needs are prioritized. Sales and Promotional Opportunities Cinema KPIs achieved; Group bookings and voucher sales targets; adherence to briefs and planograms; drive loyalty programs and promotions; manage planograms. Skills and Experience These are the desired skills and experience for this role: 2-5 years\' experience as an Assistant Cinema General Manager, or similar role. Demonstrated experience with sales figures and managing Operating Statements. Demonstrated experience in achieving sales targets. High level of computer literacy. Senior First Aid Certification. RSA (relevant to state/territory requirements). RMLV (relevant to state/territory requirements). Approved Manager Licence (relevant to state/territory requirements).
