Our client is seeking experienced and dealer-trained Diesel Fitters/ Mechanics, and Auto Electricians, for full-time positions within workshops base out of Nambour, Maroochydore, on the Sunshine Coast, QLD. We are looking for candidates with hands-on experience working across a range of vehicles and machinery. Key Responsibilities in these roles: Service and maintain vehicles to manufacturer specifications Inspect, test, and identify problems with diesel engines and related systems. Fix and replace faulty parts in engines, fuel systems, and hydraulic components. Trace and resolve diagnostic fault codes Repair electrical systems, including: Lighting, Instrumentation, Ignition, Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) Dismantle and rebuild engines, transmissions, and steering components Perform brake adjustments and laser wheel alignments Service and repair other components, such as hydraulic systems, and use welding equipment for repairs. Carry out general maintenance and component replacement Install new parts and equipment onto machinery. Inspect, service, and repair heavy diesel engines and related components Perform routine servicing, including oil changes and fluid checks, as Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and regulations. Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance performed. Ideal Candidates Will Have: Hold relevant industry trade qualifications or equivalent Minimum 1 year of relevant full-time experience Strong skills in diagnostics and fault tracing Experience working with Construction and Agri machinery and other related equipment Proven ability to service and repair diesel engines and related components Experience maintaining or overhauling hydraulic and pneumatic systems (highly regarded) Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment OEM or manufacturer training (highly regarded) Strong communication and teamwork skills These are Full-time permanent roles.
