We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Materials Coordinator to support our Logistics Team in ensuring the right materials are available at the right time, in the right condition, and in the right place. This casual role offers flexibility in start and finish times (typically Mon-Fri, 8:00-16:00), making it ideal for someone who values work-life balance while contributing to a high-performing team. What You'll Do Manage MRP exceptions and facilitate timely material supply using ERP systems (preferably SAP). Raise purchase requisitions, expedite deliveries, and coordinate refurbishment and reuse of repairable materials. Liaise with engineers, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure inventory accuracy and availability. Lead or participate in meetings regarding material supply, shortages, and procurement planning. Optimise inventory holdings across assets using tools like IBM Maximo MRO IO. Support vendor invoice holds, material non-conformances, and stakeholder communications. What You'll Bring Strong understanding of inventory management principles and Material Requirements Planning (MRP). Solid experience in inventory procurement processes and ERP systems (SAP preferred). Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formula use for data analysis and comparison. Effective communication skills and confidence to lead discussions and resolve supply issues. Proven ability to prioritise tasks, manage competing demands, and deliver results efficiently. A trade qualification or technical degree in a related discipline is desirable.
