Experienced French Polisher Required | High‑End Joinery & Furniture | Wetherill Park | Full‑time | $75K - $95K Super DOE | About the Role We are seeking a skilled and experienced French Polisher to join a highly regarded team of craftspeople at a premium joinery and furniture manufacturing facility located in Wetherill Park, NSW. This is a rare opportunity to contribute your artistry and precision to bespoke, high‑end residential and commercial projects, where the final finish is everything. You'll be working on a range of complex and detailed pieces - from custom furniture and cabinetry to large architectural joinery elements - all crafted to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities Prepare timber surfaces for finishing (sanding, sealing, staining) Apply traditional and modern polishing techniques, including French polishing, and‑rubbed finishes, Lacquers, oils, and stains Match colours and finishes to exacting specifications Maintain consistency and excellence across multiple pieces and batches Touch up and repair damaged or worn finishes when required Collaborate with joiners, cabinetmakers, and project managers to ensure finish aligns with design intent Maintain a clean, organised, and safe finishing booth/workspace About You To be successful in this role, you will bring: Proven experience as a French Polisher or timber surface finisher Deep understanding of timber species, grain, and finishing behaviour High attention to detail and appreciation for craftsmanship Ability to work to tight deadlines without compromising quality Ability to colour match and mix finishes with accuracy Familiarity with safe handling and disposal of finishing materials A proactive, team‑oriented attitude Experience working with high‑end residential or hospitality joinery Knowledge of spray booth operations or 2‑pack finishes Certificate III in Furniture Finishing or equivalent trade qualifications What's on Offer Full‑time, long‑term opportunity in a well‑equipped, modern workshop Exposure to architecturally led, high‑profile projects A supportive and professional team environment Opportunities to work on truly bespoke, one‑of‑a‑kind pieces Competitive remuneration, based on experience and skill Apply Now Click APPLY to submit your CV.
