To continue upholding these standards, we are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Practice Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and strategic management of the clinic. About the Role As the Practice Manager , you will play a pivotal role in the success and smooth operation of our clinic. You’ll work closely with our doctors, nurses, allied health professionals, and administrative staff to ensure optimal patient flow, staff coordination, and operational compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee the daily operations of the practice Supervise and support administrative and clinical staff Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and Medicare billing requirements Proficient use and management of Best Practice Software Oversee Medicare item number usage and optimisation, including PIP & WIP compliance Prepare and manage staff rostering, payroll, and leave Recruitment, onboarding, and HR management for all practice staff Manage accounts payable/receivable, banking, and financial reporting in collaboration with external accountants MYOB experience preferred Maintain and improve administrative systems, policies, and procedures Support in stock and inventory management Drive ongoing quality improvement and staff training Liaise with external stakeholders including Medicare, PHN, suppliers, and IT support About You To be successful in this role, you will bring: 6 years experience in a similar Practice Manager or Senior Administrator role (preferably in a private General Practice) Advanced knowledge of Best Practice Software Strong understanding of Medicare billing, item numbers, and incentive programs (PIP, WIP) Demonstrated experience with Accreditation processed (e.g. RACGP standards) Proficient in rostering, payroll, HR, and general financial/accounting processes Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills High-level administrative and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and lead a team A patient-first approach and a commitment to confidentiality and integrity Desirable Qualifications Formal qualifications in Business, Health Administration, or HR Familiarity with private billing systems Knowledge of MyMedicare and current Medicare reforms Experience working with allied health and specialists within a GP setting Why Join Us?
