Position Overview The Capability and Skills Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring that our operational staff are equipped with the necessary training and support to excel in their roles. This position involves a thorough review and update of our Plant and Equipment and High-Risk Skills Competency training matrix to align with the evolving needs of the organisation. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of competency-based training and assessment, as well as the ability to effectively document and integrate training requirements into our Learning Management System (LMS). As a part of the Corporate People and Culture Directorate, you will collaborate with various business units and stakeholders to enhance training delivery and outcomes, ensuring a safe and competent workforce. Candidate Profile We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about learning and development. The successful candidate will demonstrate the following qualifications and experience: Relevant tertiary qualifications Current NSW Driver’s Licence. Experience in learning needs analysis, particularly within infrastructure or safety-regulated environments. Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and data management. Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proven experience in project management and process improvement. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
