We are currently seeking an experienced and hands-on Field Service Leading Hand to join our dynamic team. This key position will oversee the installation, servicing, and maintenance of fire suppression systems and other Mammoth products across our diverse client base. The Role: Lead and coordinate field-based installation, commissioning, and servicing of fire suppression systems on mobile Guide and mentor Field Technicians, ensuring safe and efficient work practices whilst reporting into our Field Service Supervisor Perform diagnostics, repairs, and fault-finding across fire systems, hosing, and mechanical components Conduct inspections, pressure testing, and compliance checks in line with AS5062:2022 and site standards Support the broader Mammoth product suite including thermal, noise, and emission control installations Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and reporting across all field operations Liaise with clients, site supervisors, and internal stakeholders to coordinate work schedules and deliverables The Candidate: Trade qualified – Certificate III or higher in Mechanical Fitting, Diesel Fitting, Automotive Electrical, Plumbing or similar Certificate in Fire Suppression highly regarded 5 years’ experience in mechanical or field service environments (mining or heavy plant exposure advantageous) Proven leadership skills and previous experience leading small teams (advantageous) Demonstrated ability in diagnostics, maintenance, and fault-finding of mechanical systems Familiarity with AS5062:2022 Fire Protection Standard and mine site compliance Current Driver’s Licence and White Card (Fire Protection or Confined Space certification desirable) Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills Ability to travel and work on-site, interstate, and intrastate (including remote areas and varied hours as required) If you believe you meet our requirements and are looking to join a dynamic and established team, please send through your updated resume by clicking APPLY today.
