Data Architect - Health Sector Melbourne preferred | Remote considered | ⏰ 8-week contract | Start ASAP A leading organisation in the health sector is seeking a Data Architect to provide hands-on expertise for a critical program currently underway. This role offers the chance to shape data architecture that underpins improved health outcomes and system interoperability across multiple platforms. The Opportunity You'll play a pivotal role in defining and designing the program's data architecture, ensuring that information flows seamlessly across internal and external systems. With your expertise in health data standards, you'll help create a robust foundation that supports both immediate program needs and long-term sector-wide benefits. Key Deliverables Develop a high-level data model ("Data Model on a Page") to support the program Define and document data flows across internal and external platforms Identify and verify systems of record for each major data entity Provide direction on incorporating HL7, FHIR, and SNOMED standards into the solution design Advise stakeholders on best practices for interoperability and data governance About You Proven experience as a Data Architect, ideally within the health sector Strong understanding of interoperability frameworks and data modelling techniques Hands-on experience with HL7, FHIR, and SNOMED standards Ability to deliver high-quality outputs under tight timeframes Strong communication skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders Engagement Details Full-time, 5 days per week Approx. 8 weeks (commencing ASAP, completing prior to Christmas) Melbourne-based preferred , though remote candidates will be considered
