About the Role We are seeking a Finance Officer for a temporary part-time position to assist with essential finance and administrative duties. Working closely with various departments, this role will focus on ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes during a period of internal transition. The position offers approximately 25 hours per week across four days, with some flexibility available following onboarding. Key Responsibilities Process invoices and payments in a timely and accurate manner Perform accounts receivable (AR) and bank reconciliation functions Provide day-to-day financial administration support to internal teams Collaborate with department managers to maintain efficient financial operations Assist with general finance and administrative tasks as required Key Selection Criteria Previous experience in finance or accounting support roles Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-team collaboration Ability to adapt quickly to new systems and procedures Proficiency with accounting or ERP software (such as Xero, SAP, or Viewpoint Vista) highly regarded Ability to work both independently and as part of a broader team Current Police Check (or ability to obtain) Immediate or short-notice availability preferred What’s on Offer Temporary part-time position (approx. 1–2 months) 20-30 hours per week across 4 days (negotiable) Opportunity to contribute to an established organisation during a key transition period Supportive and collaborative work environment If you’re a detail-oriented Finance Officer with experience in accounts support and are available for short-term work, we encourage you to apply today.
