The opportunity Kinetic Specialised Resources (KSR) provide premium workforce transportation services to the mining and resources sector. We are currently looking for a dynamic, commercially minded leader to join us as General Manager, leading our Central Qld and Mackay operations. The role As General Manager, you'll be responsible for the operational and commercial performance of our KSR/Central Queensland business unit. You'll lead a passionate team, manage assets and service delivery, and ensure safety, compliance AND financial growth - all while driving the Kinetic strategy and vision. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage regional operations and team performance Ensure safe, reliable, and compliant service delivery Drive customer satisfaction and financial growth Build strong stakeholder relationships, especially in the resources sector Monitor KPIs and report on business performance Promote continuous improvement and innovation Oversee fleet standards and collaborate on maintenance Lead commercial negotiations and identify growth opportunities Support a hands-on, team-oriented culture What You’ll Bring Tertiary qualification in Business or related field, or significant experience in Transport & Logistics Operations Proven commercial acumen and ability to drive growth in competitive environments Strong project management skills across budgeting, coordination, and stakeholder engagement Exceptional leadership and communication skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment MR licence or willingness to obtain (bus driving required) Valid State Driving Authority and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain) High computer literacy (MS Office and internal systems) Key Competencies Strategic thinker with a clear sense of purpose Emotionally intelligent and ethically grounded Results-driven with a continuous improvement mindset Team builder who attracts and develops top talent Why Kinetic?
