Job summary: Flexible hours available We are seeking a dedicated Chef to join our food production warehouse team. This role involves cooking daily meals for staff, managing the kitchen, supporting warehouse operations, and ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook nutritious, tasty meals for staff on a daily basis. Plan simple but varied menus according to staff needs and purchase ingredients. Maintain kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and compliance with food safety standards. Monitor and manage kitchen supplies, stock rotation, and storage. Assist warehouse team with food packing and preparation tasks when required. Ensure correct use and cleaning of kitchen equipment. Maintain health & safety standards in both kitchen and warehouse areas. Work closely with supervisors to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Skills & Requirements Proven experience as a Chef, Cook, or Kitchen Supervisor. Knowledge of food safety, handling, and hygiene practices (HACCP desirable). Ability to cook for groups of staff (10–15 people daily depending on demand). Strong organizational skills to manage kitchen operations and multitask. Willingness to assist with warehouse operations when needed. Physical fitness for standing, lifting, and warehouse support work. Team player with a flexible and positive attitude.
