A well-known services organisation, based in the CBD, with an excellent brand and rapidly growing finance team, are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join them on a permanent basis This is permanent opportunity, working closely with the Financial Controller and within an established team. Responsibilities of the role include:Monitor financial activities and report variances.Prepare financial reports.Financial accounting.Month-end close.Bas/tax preparation.Payroll tax and Super calcs.Budgeting and forecasting.Managing the general ledger including the review of various monthly balance sheet, banking, and inter-company reconciliations.Assisting with fixed-assets register.Ensure timely regular monthly reporting.Stakeholder engagement.Financial statement preparation. To be considered this role you must be CA/CPA qualified, with 1-2 years' local commercial experience. Exposure to both financial accounting with strong all-round accounting skills, along with a high level of Excel. You must also have strong business partnering skills with the ability to communicate to both finance and non-finance stakeholders. There is WFH options and career progression.
