Job Description: As a State Service Manager at Droppoint, you will be responsible for leading state-based customer engagement, managing day-to-day logistics operations, and representing the company at a state level in NSW. This role involves overseeing service and logistics, maintaining relationships with clients, partners, and outlets, and ensuring the seamless continuation of services. The ideal candidate will have strong customer engagement skills, with a hands-on approach to customer service and problem-solving. A ‘can-do’ attitude to deliver great outcomes for our customers. Key Responsibilities: Lead State-Based Customer Engagement: Oversee customer service and logistics operations throughout NSW, ensuring exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction. State-Level Representation: Act as the face of Droppoint Australia at a state level, driving activities such as onboarding, training, and service utilisation. Operational Continuity: Ensure day-to-day operations continue seamlessly in response to service interruption events, maintaining business continuity and customer trust. Asset Management: Oversee and manage state assets, including spaces, transport, and logistics services, ensuring optimal use and maintenance. Service Escalation and Improvement: Take responsibility for escalation, resolution, and continuous improvement of services within the state, ensuring high standards of service delivery. Relationship Building: Develop and nurture relationships at both state and supervisor levels across all customers, ensuring strong and lasting partnerships. Project Management: Lead and participate in client or company projects, with primary responsibility for change and project management at a state level. Partnership Management: Maintain operational relationships with Droppoint transport and network partners, ensuring efficient, reliable, and safe service processes. Outlet and Warehouse Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with outlet partners, including conducting audits and stock takes, and manage relationships with customer warehouses. Freight Recovery: Manage the recovery of freight and deliver into the network as required, ensuring efficient logistics operations. Customer Service Excellence: Demonstrate a “do what it takes” mentality to always ensure outstanding customer service. About You: Proven experience in a leadership role within customer service, logistics, or a related field. Strong business development skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a proactive and hands-on attitude. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to manage service interruptions effectively.
