By transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights, you’ll influence planning decisions that optimise space, enhance range performance, and improve store layouts—all with the customer at the centre. Your work will help ensure our offer is tailored, relevant, and compelling, driving both customer satisfaction and commercial success. You’ll lead deep-dive analyses into space utilisation, range performance, and customer flow, and support cross-functional initiatives with robust data modelling and visual storytelling. What’s involved: Work collaboratively with the broader space planning, merchandising and operations teams to deliver space performance insights across physical retail environments. Carrying out analysis to identify opportunities and drive business growth including, analysis of space productivity across ranges and layouts to identify opportunities for optimisation Deliver data-led insights that inform space productivity, range efficiency, and layout strategies and support key initiatives and concepts across the team. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI or Tableau to visualise performance metrics and spatial trends and provide key insights. Maintain and manipulate large datasets, ensuring data integrity and extracting meaningful insights that drive value. Support the Space Planning team by enhancing space data and analysis literacy Partner with the Data & Analytics team to connect spatial, sales, and customer data sources to support space planning decisions. Who We’re Looking For You will bring a strong analytical mindset and a passion for uncovering patterns in data to inform strategic retail space planning decisions. You’re a curious thinker who thrives on solving complex problems with data. You enjoy working with diverse datasets and translating them into clear, compelling narratives that influence decision-making. You’re comfortable working independently and collaboratively, and you bring a strategic lens to every analysis. Ideally, you will have exposure within data analysis across retail or the ability to rapidly acquire the knowledge and concepts of retail space productivity, spatial analysis, retail performance metrics and planning insights. You’ll need: Proven experience in data analytics, ideally within retail, space planning, or performance insights. Strong proficiency in data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and analytical platforms (e.g., SQL, Python, Excel). Experience in spatial modelling, performance benchmarking, and layout optimisation. Ability to translate data into actionable insights and communicate findings to stakeholders at all levels. Excellent problem-solving and conceptual thinking skills. Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capabilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver insights under tight timelines, whilst working within a fast-paced environment. You’ll be part of a workplace where you’ll feel like you belong.
